This process description is based on basic principles.
The air which we breathe contains 78 vol% nitrogen gas, 21 vol% oxygen gas and 1% other gas components. 
  The PSA System uses this supply of air vapor to produce specific purities of nitrogen.
  The Pressure Swing Adsorption(PSA) separation system is based on the principle of adsorption. Adsorption is processed,in which the gas or liquid molecules adhere on the surface of the adsorbent. 
  This process creates a film of adsorbate on the surface of the adsorbent. Adsorption is a surface-based process while absorption involves the whole volume of the material.
